MYT-OBJ-056

A mineralized relic resembling a preserved organic heart encased within volcanic stone. Deep red crystalline fractures extend throughout the calcified shell and emit intermittent thermal and luminous activity despite the absence of any measurable internal energy source. Recovery records associate the object with isolated mountain sects that practiced eclipse ceremonies and maintained subterranean sanctuaries illuminated by red mineral light. During recent observation within the archive the artifact demonstrated responsive resonance behavior following a bell event originating beneath the western foundations. Thermal activity increased immediately after the bell tone and the crystalline fractures pulsed in measured intervals before returning to dormancy. The central cavity remains inaccessible beneath hardened mineral growth. Preservation of the artifact remains the primary priority while the nature of the internal structure remains unknown.

DETAILS
Handling and Restrictions:

Thermal shielding required. Eclipse-period observation restricted. Do not expose to containment resonance experiments or active bell-cycle events without authorization.

Keeper Notes:

Artifact remains under active preservation observation. Internal structure inaccessible and currently unsuitable for Keeper transfer.

Dragon Heartstone

Access Level:
Containment Required
Period:
Classical Era
Recovery Location
Excavated from beneath a volcanic mountain shrine abandoned following prolonged seismic instability and thermal disturbances.
Condition:

Stable with persistent thermal activity and minor surface fracturing.

Notable Characteristics

Persistent heat retention. Rhythmic thermal pulsation. Red crystalline fracture network. Bell-responsive resonance behavior. Sealed central cavity.

Clio Observation

Clio immediately departed the conservatory during active resonance and refused entry to the eastern corridor afterward.

Muninn Observation

Muninn placed a polished black stone beside the artifact immediately before thermal activation and maintained observation from elevated positions throughout the event.

Research Notes:

Recent observations suggest a possible connection between the Heartstone and lower archive bell systems. Thermal response appears intentional rather than environmental. Relationship to preservation chambers and deeper archive mechanisms requires further investigation.
