ARC-DOC-317

A leather-bound field journal discovered within the upper observatory stacks among early archive records. The journal matches materials and construction methods used in the Archivist's current notebooks despite exhibiting centuries of aging inconsistent with expected chronology. Several pages have been removed while surviving entries contain expedition sketches of ruined observatories flooded temples desert structures and unidentified archaeological sites. Recurring illustrations depict both Clio and Muninn accompanying the Archivist throughout multiple journeys. Numerous references appear to astronomical alignments preservation activity and containment operations. The final surviving entry contains a message apparently intended for future recovery reading 'if the memory breaks again follow the constellations'. The document may represent records created prior to the memory sacrifice event and is considered a significant archive historical source. Further investigation required.
