ARC-OBJ-412
Dark blue preservation cloak constructed from maritime-grade textile materials reinforced for prolonged exposure to seawater and adverse environmental conditions. During restoration work the garment was found to contain multiple concealed embroidered messages hidden beneath interior collar and sleeve linings. The primary inscription reads: "If the western bells open the descent before memory returns do not allow yourself to hesitate." A secondary inscription later discovered beneath the collar states: "If the descent opens during the silent bells bring the lantern but leave the clock behind." Additional concealed markings include three stars positioned beside a descending spiral identical to symbols documented throughout alignment journals observatory murals astrolabe engravings and lower archive records. Construction techniques material aging and embroidery wear suggest the instructions were incorporated into the garment long before the current cycle of memory loss. The cloak appears to have functioned simultaneously as protective attire and a preserved message intended for future recovery by the Archivist.

Research Notes:
Embroidery style appears consistent with other self-directed instructions discovered throughout the archive. References to silent bells descent events and lantern protocols suggest planned contingency measures predating memory sacrifice. Further investigation required.
