UNC-OBJ-542
An oil portrait created by the Archivist depicting Clio resting among blankets and flowering conservatory vines beneath lantern illumination. The work initially appeared to be a conventional observational painting produced during a period of routine artistic activity following prolonged storm conditions. Subsequent examination revealed the presence of additional imagery not consciously planned during creation. Reflected within the conservatory glass behind the primary subject is a tall indistinct figure positioned near a garden threshold. The figure displays no visible illumination despite surrounding light sources and appears proportionally inconsistent with the painted environment. Further examination identified a preservation boundary sigil incorporated into the threshold beneath the reflected figure. The sigil matches markings documented within observatory curtain embroidery furnace stairwell carvings and several archive preservation systems. The reflected entity appears oriented outward toward the observer rather than inward toward the scene itself. No preliminary sketches contain the additional imagery. The painting is presently treated as a potential memory manifestation event or subconscious preservation record.
