SCA-SYS-517
Single loose journal page discovered unexpectedly within a previously catalogued field journal despite prior examinations documenting no such insertion. The page displays extensive saltwater damage mineral staining and structural degradation consistent with prolonged exposure to marine conditions. Handwriting has been positively identified as matching known Archivist records. The surviving text states: "When the spiral opens again descend before the final bell or the observatory below will align completely." Beneath the inscription is a sketch depicting a descending staircase entering dark water and three figures carrying lanterns beneath unfamiliar constellations. One figure appears cloaked. One appears avian. One smaller figure possesses reflective pale eyes. Material analysis indicates aging inconsistent with the page's recent appearance within archive holdings. The document appears directly associated with recurring spiral symbolism bell events memory recovery phenomena and lower archive structures linked to the western descent.
