ARC-OBJ-009

The Sealed Key is a hollow ceremonial key-like object recovered from an undocumented subterranean chamber beneath eastern Anatolia. The artifact displays perfectly symmetrical geometry inaccessible internal cavities and material characteristics inconsistent with confirmed regional metallurgical practices. Recovery teams documented collapsed tunnel networks ash-covered stairways sealed vault structures erased carvings and shattered locking mechanisms surrounding the chamber where the object was discovered suspended within a recessed alcove. Surviving translations reference the key that opens what cannot be entered and describe custodians carrying sealed objects through underground processional routes during funerary and eclipse observances. Recent Archive observations document unexplained temperature fluctuations persistent seawater manifestations recurring bell-associated events anomalous condensation and apparent relationships with lower foundation systems. The intended lock mechanism remains unidentified and no corresponding access structure has ever been conclusively located despite extensive investigation.

DETAILS
Handling and Restrictions:

Restricted access authorization required. Reinforced containment procedures mandatory. Extended exposure periods discouraged and all relocation events must be documented.

Keeper Notes:

Artifact remains central to several unresolved Archive investigations and should not be examined without oversight.

Sealed Key

Access Level:
Restricted
Period:
Unknown Civilization
Recovery Location
Confiscated during investigation of an undocumented subterranean chamber beneath eastern Anatolia
Condition:

Stable with minor edge erosion and intact symmetrical geometry.

Notable Characteristics

Imaging confirms extensive hollow internal chambers despite the absence of seams access points or visible opening mechanisms. Temperature fluctuations and moisture manifestations continue intermittently.

Clio Observation

Repeatedly follows personnel transporting the artifact and displays heightened attention during containment movements.

Muninn Observation

Frequently investigates locked cabinets and doors whenever the artifact is exposed for examination and has repeatedly delivered materials associated with its containment.
