UNC-PHE-214

A documented physiological phenomenon affecting Medusa following a period of increased bell activity containment restoration events alignment research and exposure to multiple archive anomalies. Initial observations recorded isolated strands of hair displaying pale silver coloration unlike ordinary aging or pigment loss. The affected strands appear to reflect and retain ambient light disproportionately when compared to surrounding hair. No associated deterioration discomfort or structural change has been observed. The phenomenon was first formally recorded following a period of recovery bathing and reduced bell activity. The origin and significance remain unknown. Preservation records have been created in accordance with archive protocol requiring documentation of all observable changes regardless of immediate explanation. Further observation required.

DETAILS
Handling and Restrictions:

Observation only. Collection of detached strands permitted for future study. No experimental intervention authorized at present.

Keeper Notes:

Insufficient understanding of origin and implications. Continued monitoring required.

Silvered Hair Phenomenon

Access Level:
Restricted
Period:
Late Summer
Recovery Location
Observed upon Medusa within the upper archive and observatory levels.
Condition:

Stable. No adverse effects currently observed.

Notable Characteristics

Silver luminescence. Light-retention properties. Progressive appearance. No associated biological distress. Direct association with recent alignment-cycle events.

Clio Observation

Clio displayed no concern regarding the phenomenon and remained unusually calm throughout the observation period.

Muninn Observation

Muninn deposited black flower petals prior to observation and maintained prolonged observation of Medusa following discovery.
